Yes, we are located directly on the Colorado River but there is so much to do on the water that you'll almost always want to explore it beyond our beautiful campground. You can go fishing, take a boat out and enjoy dozens of other activities including bird watching on one of the most scenic rivers in the United States.

Whether it's multiuse trails, guided outdoor and water recreation, or rental facilities, you can customize your adventure at McKinney Roughs Nature Park. Visitors can soar to new heights on the only dual zip line tour in Texas. Located just 9.4 miles West of the campground.
Lost Pines Nature Trails & Colorado River Refuge
The Lost Pines Nature Trails project is a multi-phase project to develop recreational biking and walking trails on a 30 acre tract of land along the Lower Colorado River adjoining and connecting 60 acres know as the Pines and Prairies Land Trust Colorado River Refuge
